Give these music tricks a try:
1) Calm down the kids
The next time your kids are running wild around the house, try putting on some soft and soothing music and see what happens.
2) Shake off that slump
The next time you feel like you’re in a little bit of a funk, put on your favorite jam tune and have a quick dance party. You’ll shake off more than just a sour attitude!
3) Get into the groove
When you are slaving away in the kitchen trying to please everyone’s palate, put on some of your favorite upbeat songs to help you get in the groove.
4) Slow your roll
Late at night when you are trying to wind down but your mind is still buzzing, put on some calm, classical music to enter into a restful state.
5) Play together
If you happen to play an instrument or sing, take some time out of your day to sit down and enjoy playing. Let all of those stressful thoughts slip away, and just let yourself be awash in music even for just a few moments. Make it a family jam and let the kids sing away their stress too!
